The Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu has expressed readiness to partner with the United Kingdom (UK) in order to explore the various sectors of the economy.
Governor Sanwo-Olu noted the importance of partnership in the economic activities of the state.
He disclosed this when the British High Commissioner to Nigeria, Richard Montgomery, Deputy High Commissioner, John Baxter, and other member of their team paid him a visit at the Lagos House, Marina on Thursday.
His words: “We believe that various sectors in Lagos State provide significant economic opportunities for investments from the UK. As a government, we aim to demonstrate our commitment to trade and investment.
“We see potential in key areas such as financial services, education and digital opportunities. Our goal is to build a bridge between Lagos and the UK economy, encouraging stronger ties and collaboration.”
